I found out today that the noise I'm hearing from my Jeep engine is the bearing going bad on my a/c compressor. I'm told it's not in danger yet, but should be fixed by next summer. Anyone know if I have to replace the entire compressor to fix this or any other methods to fix it? Thanks!

I don't know nuthin' bout no Jeeps. :D

My AC compressor had to be replaced in my B after 3K miles because it started making a whizzing noise. They replaced the whole compressor.
