Came home and found the latest issue of MotorTrend in the mail box,the one with the Bullitt road test. Took off for the strip,and read the article while waiting for the gates to open. They ran a 14.07 at 97.9,I did my best of a 14.11 at 99.7. Read more about it in the Drag Strip forum. I am very pleased,when you consider the traction problems,and my first time banging thru a 5 spd.,in 6 yrs.!

Mus408, my buddy tells me that when i'm ready he'll go with me and let me use his Nitto's on the rear. should make a difference. know anybody that will loan you a set of shaved or drag radials for a couple of runs??

i haven't done it yet cuz i'm a little intimidated!! (performance anxiety-LOL) (go ahead Bob!!...comment away!! -LOL)
just have NEVER done it so it makes me a little skittish

Now I told myself,I wasn't going to beat this car,BUT! I can borrow the big fat BFG DragRadials,275-60-15s,off of the 85 LX. If they will fit,I know they would hook better...Hmmmmm track opens this morning at 11:00 AM for T&T !!! Have mercy on my clutch!
