I went to get the Firestone tires replaced on my Ranger yesterday at my local Ford dealer. This is the same dealership where I got my Bullitt (4406). Guess what, my salesman had these items waiting for me. Nice surprise. I didn't ever have to ask for them. Pays to deal with the same lot year after year.

What the tires? If it was, all Ford dealerships who sold Explorers and or other Trucks/SUV’s all have a good stock of Goodyears to replace the Firestones.
Makes me think he just happened to have them and played it off like he was holding them for you, to get some browne points.
While I was getting my oil changed, I was told, I would have to be put on a waiting list to get the replacement tires, and they would call me when they got to my name.
So, another 3000 miles go by, no call. I go back to the same dealership again, and ask where I was on the list, and the guy said (different guy than before), what list? Yeah, we got plenty of the replacement tires, after we change your oil, we’ll put the new tires on.
So I didn’t have to ask for mine, it was just a matter of if the had my size. And I didn’t even buy my Explorer from them.

no not the tires. I tried to upload some pictures but apparently they didn't come thru. The dealer had an original Bullitt flyer and one of the big posters with the bullitt and the speedo. I just tried uploading them again and all I get is "image upload results" and thats it.

Muskrat,

after you upload the image file, the results will be a web address, preceded and ending with tags.

Left click you mouse and run the pointer over the ENTIRE address, including the image tags. Left click while highlighted and press the keys Ctrl and C to save to your pc's memory. Go back to where you were typing your text message click your mouse to make the cursor flash and then press the keys Ctrl and V and that will transfer the image text.
