Just saw the doc. on 911 on cbs. That should win the Nobel Prize for a historial documentery.Found myself telling the firemen to get out of the buildings, but they wouldn't listen. Again I cryed for all the souls that left us that terrible day. I know all of them are with their God, no matter what their faith was.Let's promise to NEVER forget Sept.11, 2001, and let's learn to love just a little bit more than we did on that day.
May God bless us all.May Buddah show us his true compassion for all of mankind.

God Bless DirecTV.. I picked up the LA feed and taped it. Stunned.. is really the only way to describe what effect the movie had on me. It takes you to an entirely different perspective of what happened that day. It should be something everyone sees.

When did the phrase "nine one one" start to be used?? I only remember hearing "nine eleven" and "september the 11th".

Just last week I was talking with family back in the states and they refered to it as "nine one one" at first I thought they were refering to the emergency number...

Did I miss another office memo?

The 911 reference came from one of many reasons that particular date was chosen for the attacks. September 11th, 9/11 and the emergency phone number 911 all have a little something in common so some have been referring to the events as the events of 911.
Whether it's accurate or not? Not certain. But it's one of the names that events of that date have been given.

Saw it, found it very compelling. Only wish they had shown all the footage. The burning bodies, bodies hitting the pavement, body parts ... We as a nation should never forget what was done to it on that date, who did it, and the type of people who would do these acts on inoccent people. Also we should not forget who supports them.

I thought this was extremely compelling. I shuddered everytime I heard a body crash.

I'll never forget this day, those heroic firemen and policemen or our troops protecting our freedom!

CBS really showed some class by leaving out the commercials.

I'm guessing that CBS was able to leave out the commercials because they got NEXTEL to pay a hefty sum to be the sole sponsor.
