And you know what that requires? A nice drive for me and the wife down scenic Rt.5,nice winding S curves,55+MPH. Stopped by the Ford dealer to chat with my buddy. He gave me a couple of the new Cobra brochures, with wife giving me that look! Man the connecting rods in that engine are top notch! Look like the Eagle rods I used in the 85 LX. I ought to buy one rod and piston and hang it on the garage wall!! I see that Ford will use the 5W-20 oil in the 03 Cobra, read it off the fill cap, with a magnifying glass! The convert is going to weigh a whopping 3720 LBS! All in all a great day on the road, with the Bullitt!

Mus408, sounds like a fun day! I had intended
on doing a similar cruise but got involved
with mounting the Bullitt Banner, which in-
volved moving alot of stuff around...then I
start slinging brews at 1800...so no Bullitt
cruise today. Maybe tomorrow!

Ray,he was quoting me somewhere in the $34,000 range. He has 5 on store order. He is also going out to Arizona, with invite from SVT,for the big run off, driving school and track testing of the new Cobras,vs Corvette. He will be out there for a week or so,at there expense! Some guys get all the fun! Now let me check my Lotto ticket,as that will be the only way for me to get one,as I would have to add on the the garage also!!! Remember also,There will always be fast and faster Cobras, but there will only have been one Bullitt.......I hope. Yeah the weather was great down here yesterday, but it is back to the cold today..High of 40 something.

My buddy who owns a 97 GT convertible showed me the Cobra brochure - I wonder if he knows how much the Cobra convert' weighs?!? While I was checking out the brochure I thought, HMMMMMMM....maybe I should consider a Cobra, then it hit me - I'd have to sell the Bullitt first - that ain't gonna happen!!!!

My car was up on jacks for only 2 weeks this winter in Chicago. Since it has been such a mild winter, I have been able to drive it quite a bit.
