I wonder why, when Ford designed the 4.6 2V engine, that they didn't include a Hemispherical, hemi, combustion chamber for it. It would have made more HP due to better airflow, and the engine wouldn't have been any wider than it already is?????
A canted valve head like the 351 Cleveland's would probably be better. Hemi heads required special tuning to make use of them. The Ford 429 was night and day different between the Boss 429 and the 429's in the NASCAR cars
I have to agree with you. The Cleveland heads with the canted valves were a Semi-Hemi type of head. Streetablility with performance. My uncle has a mint condition 71 Mach 1 With a 351 Cleveland and although is is nothing like the Bullitt it gets up and goes for a car that is really heavy.
