The dates are May 16-19. My wife and I are planning a vacation to Branson,during the week before this,and I am planning on going to this event on the way back.

This is a very large show and drag racing event for Mustangs. Last year over 1500 cars were in the Show event.Current model 1999 to 2001 had 143 Mustangs entered.The Midway has over 60 product vendors showing the lastest and greatest Mustang parts.I will showing "MB 4875" and will enter my Diesel Pickup in the Ford Diesel Challenge.

I'm thinking of going, also thinking of entering the 'factory stock' class. I'm still bone stock, but I figure I can make tires, chip, and exhaust to get at least to mid 13's (maybe). Anyway I figure $100 for 4 runs isn't too bad, there's no close tracks to twincities.
Anyone know any good place to camp ??

Check the event web site. there will be a camping area on the grounds this year.

yes, please go to the website and/or check out the ads in 5.0 & Super Fords and MM & FF
it is the largest non NHRA event of it's kind in the US of A that i'm aware of.
all the major suppliers and manufacturers will be there as well as the biggest and baddest Mustang racers in the country
an awesome car show (that our fellow member Richard will be in) and swap meets, etc...
i should go ahead and post a list of all the sponsors who will be in attendance
last year, members of Team Mustang AND Ford Racing were there too!

I knew it , it forecasting rain for friday the start of WFC5. I will drive over early friday am to claim my parking spot.MB 4875 is up on its jack stands , cleaning the undercarriage. Five coats of Zanio in the past week. I hope that I miss the rain on the drive to Gateway. See you there.
