He's probably been living in that slip ever since he won it. He was looking a little too comfortable in it that night.

.......well then, shouldn't you be up on a gurney or something like that so when your contractions get closer together you'd be all set??? :-B

That's a pretty fast gestation period seeing how it's only been a couple of weeks. I wonder which one of you lucky guys is the father????

Good luck and congrats on the grandchild. My grandson started his trek at about 6:00 pm and showed up at about 5:00 am. Long night for me but very long for my daughter.

Sunday 10:44 the little bugger finally made his way into the world!! :D Anyway, he's being stabilized then off to Sick Childrens for surgery. He's made it through the difficult part, so all is looking good so far. "fingerscrossed:

Well some good news, after a couple of oxygen drops last night, they got him stabilized and over to Sick Kids. Not sure when the surgery will happen, but things are looking good so far.

For those of you who are not aware, the little fella has a diaphramatic hernia. This has caused his stomach and intestinal tract to grow in the chest cavity. This has put pressure on the lungs and heart, not allowing them to develop properly. The corrective surgery is highly sucessful. The trick is being stabil enough to get to the surgery.

So right now, it's a bit of a waiting game.

Hey Wayne, wasn't aware of any issues dude! Hope everything turns out right and the little guy continues to keep those stats highly successful!
Show him a picture of the B to show him what to look forward to! (make sure it's a DHG one though!)

I got the little fella in my prayers. I hope he does well now, and is healthy enough to be giving his parental unit fits in another couple years! That would be a healthy boy!

Thank you all for your kind words and thoughts.

Got some good news late last night, his heart is doing very well, another hurtle is now out of the way. They will be trying to wean him off of the oxygen this week to see how he does. One of his lungs is very underdeveloped from the pressure on it. If he gets through this step, the surgery may go before the weekend.
