It almost seems as if they are not installed right but I find myself consantly untwisting the seatbelt at the buckle point and at the shoulder point ~ It is a real b!tch too so I can't see how it does it on it's own but I have 2 friends with the same problem on a '99 and a '01 so I know it's just not me

Yeah, mine always twists up too. I also did the mod that encloses the seatbelt in the retainer, but that didn't prevent it. As a matter of fact, the hose on the retainer keeps it from fully retracting sometimes.

I had the probelm in my 97 Cobra and have it in #5578. My solutiuon was to not use the twisting, wimpy stock seatbelts anymore. These are SCHROTH Rally4 harnesses. See my Mods post if you'd like morte info.

For what it's worth I had problems with both of mine and they were both replaced by the dealer. The passenger belt never retracted properly and the driver side would twist quite a bit. Both new ones work fine now.

Only time I use my seat belt is when I get pulled over.

I just took the retainers off. They just sucked. I think the interior looks better without them. The racing harness idea looks sweeeeet !

I'm having my belts untwisted in the morning by the dealer.
