Never happens to me either! I am so disappointed too! I don't think anyone takes my Bullitt very seriously since I have those "toy" Revell models displayed on the rear dash.

One time, and it was a V-6 Mustang with dual exhaust. Guess he thought I was the same, with the lack of a rear spoiler (it was at night). Needless to say, it wasn't a pretty sight. Sorry, but I had to!!

Happened today. Had a blue GT come up behind me at a stoplight and rev it several times. He had aftermarket pipes. Then he honked his horn a few quick times at me. So when the light turned green I, *ahem*, made my presence known. He either wasn't trying or couldn't keep up off the line but eventually he caught up with me and gave me a big thumbs up. Kind of nice to get the attention.

Sometime twice a day.
The Mustang guys rev up the engine. I don't know if it's a 'thumbs up' or a challenege to race. I usually have the boy in the baby seat so I just wave them along.

The Z28 guys (and Integra fruits) give me the finger, shout obscenities and try to drive into me. Man- I want to beat the living hell out of those guys.

The best thing about having these cars is that even if people don't know what they are, people know its a Mustang no matter what.
My last nice car was a Contour SVT...no one ever knew what it was. My less inclined friends were like, "You spent how much and you got a Contour???" It was a fun car to drive, though.

I really hate that. I like to race at lights where you know you will start even and there's no traffic ahead.

When my wife is driving (she drives it to work), and someone is checking her out at a light she revs it like she wants a race. But when the light turns green they take off WOT and she drives off normal just laughing. See, she knows where the cops are and it's funny to her when she drives by the guy getting a ticket.
