Greetings Everyone!

If one has the original Ford window sticker still attached to his/her Bullitt should it remain there? Does same really mean much - collectibility speaking - one way or another?

Happy Monday!

If you are going to park it in a garage for 20 years and then try to sell it.. leave the sticker otherwise remove it and store it in a ziploc bag.

I drove around with my window sticker on
for a week! I just did it for fun but took
it off for safety reasons and for the sake
of not damaging the sticker if I put the
window down by accident. My window sticker
is now framed.

I don't know how this affects collectibility.
If and when you decide to remove the
window sticker and all the other stickers,
take pictures of the car with all the stickers
in place and save all the stickers
after they have been removed if you want.
I did this for fun. I still have the factory
Bullitt sill plastic and color dots in place
and protected...same with front floor pan
plastic.

That looks great, 220!!!

What are the dimensions of your frame? I want to get two of them just like it for 169 and 1053.

Bullitt 220,

Wow...your framed window sticker looks GREAT! You did a super job of matching the colors of the border - and the frame itself - to those present on the sticker itself.

My Heartiest Of Congratulations!

Actually, my wife gave me a framed Bullitt poster for Christmas and she also had my window sticker framed at the same time. So she is the one responsible for the great color choices along with the framer. The framer was also able to cut the dark blue matt with rounded edges to match the sticker . When I get home later I'll let you know the frame dimensions.

Whacky?? Who's whacky???

I went to Kinkos and had them make a color copy and had them both laminated. The original is in the house and the copy is with my Bullitt photo/artical album! If I want to put the sticker back on the passenger window for fun, it won't get damaged!

Hey Nasty Bob,

The dimensions of the frame for my sticker are 15.75" wide X 14.75" high.

My wife had it done at the local art supply store. She said she spent about an hour going over matt and frame colors. Plus the framer cut the dark blue matt with rounded corners to match the rounded edges of the sticker and beneath the dark blue surface of the matt the board is white so it looks pretty cool.
