I'm getting ready to order a set of underdrive pulleys and Steeda has a few listings. The first one is "1996-1999 4.6L Cobra & BullitUnderdrive Pulleys" for $159.95. The other one is "Mid 2001-on 4.6L GT Underdrive Pulleys" for $169.95. I'm assuming I should ignore the "1996-1999 in the description and just go for the one that says Bullitt...... but you know what happens when you assume, right? Any help would be appreciated, thanks guys.

Here's the link:

Yep, ignore the 1999. Part number 701-0002 is for the Bullitt.

Does this mean that you can use the pulleys from Ford Motorsport (or MAC - same thing)? They have a listing for 96 and up.

The set I recieved, was listed for the 96-99 Cobra. I called about that, and they replied that was the correct part for the Bullitt. It fits, works well and factory belt fits fine.

701-0002 is the right part number. We have the old water pump style pulley. You do not have to replace the alternator pulley. The stock pully is the exact same size as the Steeda.

Thanks for your input guys. I ordered a set of the Steeda pulleys earlier today. I'm gonna do the 3:73 gears, the superchip, and the pulleys all at the same time in a few weeks. Should give me a nice little improvment along with my cold air intake. Just in time for the snow....doh!
