hey CAM, next time let me know if you're going to be here for any length of time. there are 3 of us in the Show Me Mustang Club with Bullitt's and i've met 1 other guy here in St. Louis with one.
1.) yeah, there are a surprising amount of Mustangs in this area ( i still think TEXAS has more than anywhere else i've ever lived or visited)
2.) a lot of guys/kids seem to OVERLY trick out their Mustangs in this area and it's not always pretty! a lot of kids tend to "rice" their Mustangs
3.) we have a HUGE problem with Canadian Geese in the St. Louis area. they make full time homes in this area and litterally "take over" business and residential areas with any kind of water. 3 weeks ago the state finally approved a measure that would allow killing of nuisance geese. i know this sounds extreme but wait until you live in a nice subdivision that gets taken over by geese and you ahve tons of goose s**t to deal with along with attacks on children and adults. the area i used to work in you could't go outside anywhere without goose s**t
4.) enough with the PT Cruiser's ( at least untile they get substantially more power)
5.) yes, we have family in tennessee and I-64 is a good stretch of road
6.) you have to be careful in Missouri and Illinois here. Missouri Troopers all use "Instant On" and even Valentines can let you down, and the Illinois side of river here in St. Louis is notorious for all of the "gentleman's clubs" (that are outlawed/banned on the Missouri side) and therefore are patrolled VERY heavily with both troopers and local law enforcement. a lot of guys go across the river to get drunk and get a lap dance or 2!!
7.) yes, it's very hard to realize your dad isn't driving nearly as well. i try to talk to him but he doesn't want to hear it! he's 77 now and the most uncomfortable part of his driving is how his starts (from red light or stop)have become erratic and he isn't as alert of the road ahead of him. he waits way too long to brake now and consequently his stops are very hard and too sudden now. i just know he will rear end someone soon.
how do you make your dad a better driver when he's the one who taught me??? it's tough!!

no missouri DOESN"T go out of they way to disguise their unmarked vehicles. but that Instant On is TOUGH man!!!!!!
when i lived in Dallas and would drive home for a week (twice a year) the Okie troopers had some unmarked 5.0's that could give you a heart attack!! -LOL
oklahoma has a LOT of 4 lanes ( not Interstates)that are marked 75 MPH and i remember doing about 85 to 87 in my old 97 GT and coming up on the rear of a 5.0 pretty quick. all of a sudden he hits his brakes, swings onto the shoulder, and then comes back out right behind me. YEP, it was an Okie trooper! he never stopped me but stayed on my tail for about 10 to 12 nerve wracking miles--LOLi
it was a learning experience!!
