It is spring 1969. You have $4500 to spend for your choice of Detroit Muscle! What do you pick,as there are loads to choose from? Mine was a three way tie. 1969 SCJ Mach 1, 1969 Hemi RoadRunner, 1969 Baldwin/Motion 427 Camaro! Heck I loved 'em all !!

Don't know. In '69, I'd have probably picked the Plymouth, but by '76 I was a definite Ford guy.

bein g from new yprl originally i remember the baldwin/motion phase 111 cars ....they started 4.5k and up 4500 was for a nova which frankly was faster then the camaro

The 429 engine required so much space that the suspension had to be relocated and the battery had to be placed in the trunk! The advertised HP was 375.

Now don't get me started on 69s!
