It is spring 1969. You have $4500 to spend for your choice of Detroit Muscle! What do you pick,as there are loads to choose from? Mine was a three way tie. 1969 SCJ Mach 1, 1969 Hemi RoadRunner, 1969 Baldwin/Motion 427 Camaro! Heck I loved 'em all !!

Never been a Chevy man.

Roadrunner or Mach 1, Road Runner or Mach 1?

Don't know. In '69, I'd have probably picked the Plymouth, but by '76 I was a definite Ford guy.

My dream car, Bob! The Boss 429. Yep, more than 30 years later, the Boss 429 remains one of the most sought-after Mustangs of all time. "On the heels of the 302 would come what is still considered the biggest, baddest, and meanest of all Mustangs-the Boss 429." In 1970 there were only 499 Boss 429 Mustangs built! Largest engine ever offered. Magnesium valve covers, largest hood scoop ever placed on a Mustang. Grabber Blue was a popular color for 1970. The 429 engine required so much space that the suspension had to be relocated and the battery had to be placed in the trunk! The advertised HP was 375.

Now don't get me started on 69s!
