The hood is part of the Banshee set up for the 99-01 Stangs...

I LOVE the shaker hoodscoop. Same question applys though. Is it going to fit on top of the intake manifold? As long as this issue is clear I will have one of these by next summer.

Not much info. on there site about the 4.6 or BULLITT setup. I will call them next week.

Are the two side ducts functional for exhausting heat from the engine bay? Plus, is anyone aware of what performance gains Banshee claims this setup will provide? I'll buy one just because it looks cool - but I'd love it if it'll bump up hp and torque at the same time. Now I've just got to clear out a space in my garage to store my hood....

See now while I love the "Idea" behind the Shaker and the Banshee I have 1 eensy weensy small problem with them. My all time favorite Mustang was the 69 Boss 429. It had a HUUUGE hood scoop on it and I absolutely loved the way it looked. The scoop on our Bullitts are a close approximation to it. The Banshee and the Shaker are cool in their own rights they're just too small IMHO.
I'll have to see a few up close and personal to make a final judgement as these are my initial impressions.

I would be interested in JUST the hood minus the hole for the shaker. I'm happy with my densecharger but I would like the two reverse vents as this is closer to the 68 in the movie. Placement may be a little off in accordance to the movie but then again it isn't supposed to be an exact reproduction either. The vents in that hood look like they would be placed idealy to pull heat away from the intake manifold though.
