Mike, check out this Company.................

Last weekend I narrowly escaped a hail storm ....I was away from home. I don't think I want to gamble anymore since the weather is getting pretty freaky early in the season. I was leaning toward this cover from AmericanMuscle.com. Anyone with some thoughts or recommendations? Thanks in advance for any input.

What do you want a cover for?

I have the cover from Ford for my GT500 it is fitted, the exact shape of my hood and deck lid/spoiler, side view mirror pockets, a grommeted hole for the antenna and fits well.

I have to wash and dry my car before I put it on, unless I want to use it to sandpaper my black paint. I have a 1200 foot long gravel driveway, if I drive my cars anywhere they get dirty. So there is no putting my car away after a drive without washing and drying it...

I use mine inside my barn. I have had chickens and cats scratch my car with out the cover on it..
So the cover doesn't work very well for me...
I wish I would have saved my money.

Besides, I don't really see how any soft cover is going to protect your car from hail?

I am now on the verge of getting one of these.

Pulled The Trigger On The Cover Purchase

Did some more research and checked some prices. Just placed an order for the Noah by Covercraft. Best price was found here...about fifty bucks less than the others plus free shipping!! http://www.autoanything.com/car-covers/60A1009A0A0.aspx Thanks again!

Hey, now that's cool!

Just a shame that it would be a pain to use on a daily basis, at least for me it would as mine is a DD under the really foul weather hits...

I looked at the various optionsand decided that the Weathershield was the cover I wanted. I called CalCarCover to see what they had. I told them I was looking at the Weathershield and they said the Extremeweave was the same as the Weathershield. All was good until they told me they were asking $320 for it. I told them I could get the Weathershield for $239 from a Ford dealer, they would not match it as it wasn't on a website. I called Steve at Tousley Ford and ordered the cover.

Several recommended the Noah and I do have one for my Lightning but it does not appear to be a good outdoor cover that could be washed every week. Hope I made the right choice.

Thanks for all the input.

I was thinking about getting a deflector shield for mine. The problem is that it runs down the battery too quickly. :nerd:
