Yes indeed, it was looking at first gear that steered us away from the T-56. Trying to minimize cost, it seemed foolish to need to re-gear the rear to make up for what you lost with the T-56.Look at the gear ratios. A cobra trans with our factory 3.27's and our HP wouldn't be able to pull a dead hooker out of bed. With 3.55's, the cobra T-56 tops out at 55 or so in first, with our 3.27's and the little power we have, you'd get beat by Civics. We don't have enough power or gear from the factory to use a Ford SVT Cobra T-56.
