I am running H&R SS springs and would like to get some new struts/shocks to smooth out the ride.

I spoke with the guys at the local mustang shop, Springfield Motorsports and they recommend going with Bilsteins front and rear. They said to use the struts/springs for a 2001 mustang, but i have heard from others that since the car is lowered to go with a 87-93 strut/shock combo because of the height difference.

Has anyone explored this option? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Pete

maximum motorsports has a race valved bilstein package that looks pretty good. but very $$$$$$$. also check out the tokico illumina's or koni adjustables. maybe DOC1FMF will jump in here, or pm him. he's got a bunch of experience with autocrossing and suspension.

i had the fox body monroe struts on my gt with sportlines, it made it ride better with the new struts, and yes, they are shorter than ours. so it works nice
