Here is a question for all of you. How many of your cars wound up with a factory installed block heater. I have had several people ask me what is up with the plug hanging out of the grille. And last weekend Trueblue#3496 stopped by to check out the new arrival and they also asked about it, their car was ordered out of a dealer in Indiana and did not have this option.
Anyway we both love the car and it has met nothing but positive comments.
Later.

Not a bad thing to have. I installed one on my 351W,in my 85 LX. In cooler weather,I preheat the engine before startup. Helps atomize the fuel,on a cold intake with carb, for better cold idle, and reduces cylinder bore wear.

I don't know if this is true or not, but, I've been told that all the blocks (4.6) already have the heater installed. But if you want the option to use it then you need to buy the cable. Help me out guys. I've been wondering if this is true ever since someone told me that.
