I saw this listed on digg.com. Apparently Bruce Willis was posting in the aintitcool.com forums, chatting with fans.

Check out the movies he watches a couple times each year. His list is surprisingly close to what is on my "watch frequently movies" list.

"here are my top 5 or 6 movies, which I generally watch 3 to 5 times a year.

Dr. Strangelove,
Raging Bull,
The first 2 Godfathers,
Taxi Driver,
Goodfellas,
Spartacus,
Bridge on the River Kwai,
Bullitt,
the Great Escape,
On the Waterfront,
Resevoir Dogs,
Patton,
I really dug 300,
the first Alien,
Last Picture Show....

that's more than 5 or 6... thanks bw"

This reminds me.. I haven't seen Dr. Strangelove in a while.. time to pull out the DVD. :)

If they ever remake Bullitt, I vote for Bruce Willis in the role of the Cab Driver (Robert Duval in the original.)

I hope they never do. Some things are better left alone. Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory is one of those movies too. The remake can not hold a candle to the original.

Oh, agreed 100%. I would not push for them to remake it whatsoever.. and yeah, a remake of Willy Wonka was doomed from the get-go. There are a lot of movies like that.

I can't think of a more difficult film to remake than Bullitt. Any McQueen film just doesn't translate very well. Steve was too strong to emulate.
