Paint cleaning clay may work.
Mother's products has it as well as Griot's
Garage.

Good luck!

Also, the more wax on the paint, the easier
the bug guts come off and the sooner you get them off, the easier it is.

This stuff is the best I've seen...I use it on DHG #4930 regularly:

Pro Honda Spray Cleaner & Polish

Quickly Cleans, Polishes & Protects Entire Vehicle 14oz
"Roadside Detailer" - Cleans road grime, grease, and bugs without water
Polishes Paint, Chrome, Glass and Clear Plastic
Protects vinyl, Plastic and Rubber
Blocks U.V. Rays - Reduces Fading and Cracking
Repels water - Beads up like wax
Anti-Static properties reduce dust buildup

Formulated exclusively for Honda, Pro Honda Spray Cleaner & Polish is the ultimate "Detailer in a can" for motorcycles and other vehicles. It cleans road grime, bugs, grease, dust, and shipping preservatives without water, leaving a "showroom shine" that helps to protect against sun damage, ozone and dirt accumulation.

DIRECTIONS:
1) Use in well ventilated area
2) Shake well before applying
3) Spray 6 to 8 inches from surface to be cleaned/shined.
4) Polish with clean dry (non-abrasive) cloth or towel.

BS#161: I remember last summer when I met 1NastyFordGT in Bozeman at the International Car show there. He hadn't had a chance to wash his Bullitt #169 yet when we met, and the front end of that car was pelted with bugs and more bugs! You could hardly see the paint! Here is a link to a post made about tar and bug removal awhile back. He tells of a product that worked wonders that he got at Wal Mart called "1 Lifter" Bug and Tar Remover:

Actually I've found "Goo Gone" (available at most auto parts stores & Target) to work great on bugs, tar, the goo left behind from Chicago parking tickets that get stuck onto your window, etc.........
