Thought everyone who is intrested in possibly finding your build sheets, I found my sheet while putting my car on jack stands, it was up between the back of the fuel tank and the inside of the rear bumper held on by one single peice of tape. My car only has 191.2 miles on it,so i was glad to find it before it had a chance to blow away, good luck finding yours.
So tell us where did you find yours?

I have the same situation. I started pulling on it and it started to tear so I stopped. I'm now planning my next move.

I wiggled it back and forth, back and forth
for 15 minutes. Mine was taped twice, top and bottom of the sheet. I have skinny hands and fingers, I took off all my rings, and it still left indent marks on my forearms (not to mention grease) for a few hours.
I had to use fingernails to pry the tape off first...but didn't realize that it was taped twice, so mine ripped a little, but I ended up with a whole piece of paper...just ripped.
All this, in the pouring rain.
I procrastinated for 2 months....so I was VERY worried that it was gone, destroyed, etc. There were already like 4800 miles on the car. I feel very lucky, it was a GREAT DAY !

How hard is it to take the bumper off?
I have plenty of time!

Yeh, I cashed it. Got the build sheet out just now. Used two wide putty knifes so as not to damage the foam stuff and gently pried a gap wide enough to work the sheet out. The build sheet is dated June 25, 2001.

That took me 11 minutes.

Hey Jimmy, is all this mayhem "over there"
going to affect deployment status of your
squadron?

Nope I'm in the RAG!!!!! But it does mean we're pushing replacment aircrew and troops out the door.... Plus I get all the broke jets that the fleet can't fix

Nice to see you still call it the RAG.
The Navy had switched over to FRS when I
went to the RAG.

Fleet Replacement Squadron = FRS or...
Replacement Air Group = RAG...

I like RAG better...sounds dirty.

Finally got fed up with my build sheet being trapped in the bumper! I took the bumper cover off and got it out in one piece!!!
It took about an hour but was well worth it. I had suspected that it was taped at both ends and it was...GEEEEZ!

I am going to save the tape as well since I am WACKO!
