I just took my Bullitt to a closed course today and ran zero-to-60 numbers and quarter mile (used a stalker gun and laptop). I had a hell of time getting traction, and my car only has 1,300 miles on it, but I manages a 5.8 0-60 and a 14.3 quarter mile. First time I've driven it that hard, and I never did get a decent launch. After six runs I stopped to keep from killing the clutch. I would estimate that I could shave another 3/10s off those times with practice.

Anyway, though you guys might like to know. I will be doing it again in a few weeks. You should know that another guy was up there today with a 2001 GT (with Bullitt wheels, or course, lots of GT wannabees out there) and he got a 14.18 quarter-mile, but that car had over 5,000 miles on it and he's extremely familiar with racing Mustangs. All things considered, I was pretty happy.
