Here in CA, it is showing on speedvision, twice on the 4th (4:30pm and 8pm) and then on the 5th (4am). The next showing after that is on Monday. I'm assuming the first three will be showing the BULLITT, since they usually repeat themselves like this.

I'm having a heckuva time finding the time slot for this test on my Comcast cable; I guess it would be on my Speedvision channel, but they're schedule is so generic, it doesn't really say what any given episode is about; If someone catches this clip on the VCR, could some of it be uploaded as an MPEG for all to see?

I saw that link and watched the 4 pm (westcoat) showing on the 5th, and it had nothing on the bullitt. So I'm assuming it will be on their next series of showings on Monday at 2pm and Thursday at 4:30pm on speedvision. If you go to GIST.com, and input you area's info, you can then do a search and also have GIST e-mail you the day a show comes on. Nice site. Hopefully motorweek will show the Bullitt on Monday!

I watched it today and it wasnt that good. They seemed to have liked the car better than the cobra but the numbers they got in the test drive didnt add up. 14.1 quarter @ 105mph trap speed?? Seems to me that they must have used a gtech to get these times. They could only muster a 13.7 out of the cobra so im not too impressed with their driver, hell i could have done that and i am by no means a professional driver. The main thing is that they really liked the Bullitt and said it had a much better feel to it than the cobra for less money

I agree with you. The evaluation was disappointing and the Motor Week staff seemed to prefer the Bullitt over the Cobra.

The winshield mounted timing/speed hardware MW employed, appeared to be a g-tech type device but with more bells and whistles.

MW used to take test cars to the track for 0-60 and 1/4 mile tests. I guess it takes to much time and money to continue that practice. At least they liked the car.

Did you guys notice that the Cobra didn't have a rear wing on it. I was wondering if they came that way now, or just a mistake. I noticed a couple brand new Cobra's with wings over the last couple of weeks. I thought that the Bullitt looked a lot meaner on their Country road drive.

They ended up with a 0-60mph of 5.7 sec. Don't know on the Vette. I thought it was pretty good. they definately liked it. I loved how the car roared past the screen. But what is with the fancy G-Tech that they were using? I couldn't believe it. But now that makes me wonder, what are all the other testers using? This could be an industry trend.
