Man another one bits the dust.... THAT SUCKS!
I also got a call a couple of weeks ago from my salesman that sold 1007 to me. He said that a DHG Bullitt was wrecked right out in frount of the dealership that I bought 1007 from... And He wanted to know if it had been me. Thank god it wasn't. I did ask him about the number and if anyone had been hurt but he didn'y know anything more, seems he wasn't at work and some of the other salesmen had called him to find out.
It's say's something about our cars that perfect strangers will try to find out info a about mishaps like that.

No, the girl in Arizona was killed. I read it was nearly instant as she was pronounced upon arriving at the hospital. Very sad. The Bullitt that killed her had been stolen from it's new owner.

Bummer on the accident. But they won't total the car for that amount. It will be back on the road.

Hope to hear that the driver is doing good.

Take care.

So where and when on Long Island did this accident happen? I work for Newsday on Long Island, ( Melville ) I don't think it was in the paper at least no yet. It might not be if there were no serious injuries or fatalities. If I do see it I'll post another note about it.
I've yet to bring my Bullitt to work from New Jersey, I don't want it on the Cross Bronx Expressway or the LIE...to many disasters waiting to happen.

Just the info that was related to me via my cousin, who is an ER attendant in Arizona. The medics and police were speaking about it, that's where she got her info. I guess she figured they would know their stuff...maybe not then?

From what I have read about the one here is Mesa, (next door to Phoenix) was that

Two lawyers from the same law firm, were out drinking and looking for women, at least one of them was married. They take off at the light and hit the girl that had been out partying also, (never heard if she was drunk also)her and her friend were crossing in the middle of the street instead of at the crosswalk. The lawyers knew that if the driver was convicted of manslaughter while drunk they could have gotten like ten years in jail while leaving the scene of the fatal accident was only like two years in jail. SO the driver, by taking off and turning himself in later saved himself a possible 8 years in jail. Both lawyers were fired from the law firm. I am still not sure if they know which one was driving.
It has kind of died down and some of this info may have changed. They will go through it again when the trial comes up though.

Vicki,
No, it's not to say that there are 7 dead Bullitts, at least not to my knowledge. That's just how many fit in the pic. I do know one thing for sure. That "Kenny Brown" butchured Bullitt should be covered by one of those stones.:

Hi folks,

Haven’t been on the forums too much lately so I’m tying to catch up. Some are asking what happened with the lawyer that was involved in the hit and run in Tempe back in August. I can’t find the guy’s name here in the forums, but if anyone remembers here’s a link to the Superior Court of Arizona that you can look up the status of the case.

http://www.superiorcourt.maricopa.gov/newdocket/docketformmain.asp

My guess is it’s grinding through the slow legal process.
