what are some of the tune's you listen too when driving ? any common favorites?
being an old geezer I hit on some of the classics : the doors-l.a.woman, anything at all from duran-duran, moody blues, steely dan, bloodsweat and tears? even some goodoldcountry stuff form willie and hank jr.. ( i refuse to play any beach boys )
the mach 460 is great ....very bass-y
mainly i like to listen to the exhaust but there are those moments when the a/c goes off and the cd on.....and someone with ''the other car'' is smoked....is it justme acting like a kid again??? 47 and counting

And the list goes on, and on, and on blakwing! LOL! I am the same age as texasbullitt(and several other Bullittheads I notice), so I listen to oldies but goodies a lot too. The old man likes country more, so half of the CDs in the changer are country and the other half are John Cougar Melencamp, Steve Miller Band, and Bob Segar for now.

Where are you folks playing these CDs?

Does the Bullitt have a CD player/Radio in it???!

Hmm... I haven't noticed one.... Let me check the owners manual...

[snicker] I swear, this is the first car I have ever owned where I just don't turn the radio/cd on!

That's a major compliment to Team Mustang BTW.

updating my list after seeing some of yours ... definetly the blues brothers, sting / the police ,aretha, guns n roses, van halen, chicago , blues project...and there is an album of star trek themes that sounds unbelievable on the mach 460...(especially the voyager theme)on the way towork this morning I played pauncho and lefty by waylon and willie and looked down at the speedo to see 100 approaching very rapidly...no wonder those other cars seemed so slow...got here early though

Great picks, all.

I've put together a few CDs (thank God this thing plays burned disks) and here's some I can think of off the top of my head:

THX Sound Check, Thunder, Train, etc.
THX Sound Check, The Audience Is Listening: Airplane
20th Century Fox Fanfare
Apollo 13 Main Theme
The Imperial March
Batman, Danny Elfman's version, not the TV show
Half-Life, music from the game
Quake II, music from the game, by Rob Zombie
Trip Like I Do, Crystal Method
The Boomin' System, LL Cool J
Feppo's Party, from Lexx
Battle for the Universe, from Lexx
Flipfantasia, US3
The Soprano's theme (can't remember the title)
Crimson Tide, Main Theme, Hans Zimmer
Terminator 2, Main Theme
Dragula (Matrix Remix), Rob Zombie
Living Dead Girl, Rob Zombie

That's all I can think of at the moment.

Sure, we could talk music. But for the true answer to the original post, the only song I listen to while driving #1934 is the "Dual Exhaust Boogie" by "The Modular Eight".

Seriously. I keep trying to put the radio on (and it sounds goood when I do), but I rarely make it through more than one track before I decide I'd rather listen to the car. And I LOVE music.

Hey bullittheads, I agree about the sweet bullitt sound, but if you want to pump up the adrenalin try, Stevie Ray Vaughan "Mary Had a Little Lamb",and for a Canadian sound, the group Bachman Turner Over Drive [Guess Who] or the group April Wine.

That's my theme song.

First CD I put is was Stevie Ray Vaughan's greatest hits.

My daughter turned me on to some great techno that's really fun to drive to. My 2 faves are by KMFDM- Megalomania and Stray Bullet - both appropriate IMO
