I am always on the web surfing. Checking out different mustangs sights like stangnet,corral.net, mustangworld etc. Everyone is asking questions about Bullitt intakes, brakes, suspension and so on. A hot part everyone is looking to get is our intake. I am seeing parts list out there for the complete Bullitt intake conversion for around $1300.Its funny if you think about it when the Bullitt came out all I heard was big deal its just a GT with 5 more hp. I guess everyone is finally seeing what these cars are made of.

Well, kinda... I doubt any of us paid $3700 more than a GT Premium manual. I don't know any dealer's numbers but I doubt that the profit margins on Bullitts were equal to or worse than GT Premiums. While shopping around for my Bullitt, few dealerships wanted to deal. Secondly, while a GT may need $8000+ in under-the-hood modifications to equal a Bullitt, that's because if you buy a GT, you've already paid for all the parts you'd take out, plus the ones that would go in. If they never went in from the factory (as is the case with the Bullitt), then you encounter some savings...

But I agree that the Bullitts are worth every penny of the $3700 MSRP difference...

I've actually seen a V-6 GT clone recently, badges and all, but definitely not a V8. I guess the GT guys can start howling aboutcopycats now.

The price difference is really negligable compared with the performance upgrade! I can't believe how much press our Bullitt's are getting these days as performers. We all know but now everyone elseis starting to salivate! I was watching Motor Trend TV and they were testing a new "Z" rated all season tire that was constucted of multiple compounds and low and behold one of the two performance cars they were testing them on was a Bullitt! I was shocked! The other was a Z06 Vette!

Hello people! The cost difference between
The (prem Gt &the BULLITT).Doesn't Matter
what does matter is the cost of the manifold swap is less than 3200$ differnce in price between the two cars . After swapping the manifold on to a regular Gt they pick up 12 H.P. so that's more than what are cars make .
Now thats a problem people
