Okay everyone, here is the breakdown by color produced:

True Blue: 723
Ebony: 1818
Dark Highland Green: 3041
TOTAL PRODUCED: 5582

Cool.

FWIW that works out to:
<ul>[*]TB: 13%[*]B: 33%[*]DHG: 54%[/list]
Quite a few more TB and quite a few less DHG than we previously thought. I'll still keep my TB #3440 though!

Which is considered more rare Dark Highlander Green or True Blue? You have to consider True Blue is available on other mustangs. Highlander green is dedicated to the Bullit only... It makes you think.

Actually, how many TB GTs do you see??? Though in the end, the TB mustangs will outnumber the DHG. But not by much! Yeah! Only 723 TB cars... wow. I have 1 of 723... I feel so special!</BLOCKQUOTE></FONT></TD></TR><TR><TD><HR></TD></TR></TABLE>

Up at the Montana show, Screech, some dude with a brand new True Blue GT parked right next to me and we compared cars. He absolutely love the DHG of mine and the blue looked great on his. He originally thought the only difference was the gas cap and red calipers. After giving him a quick lesson in "Bullitt 101" he realized there was a huge difference between a regular GT and the Bullitt.

BTW, His is the only True Blue regular GT I've seen, although I know there's a lot more out there.

I have onle seen one other True Blue anything. It was a '01 Cobra. I was on my way to Glenwood Springs from Denver, through the mountains on I-70 late at night. On 3 separate ocasions before we parted company at Silverthorne, we were pulling away from knots of trafic going up hill, and all three times I walked away from him seriously (in 4th gear). I talked to him at the Conoco station in Silverthorne, he was telling his girlfriend that I had a supercharger, as he put regular unleaded in his $32K car (he said the sales and service departments where he got it told him higher octane didn't make enough difference to justify the cost). He didn't know what a Bullitt was. He must have been afraid to take it out of 5th at highway speeds, that and crappy gas is all I can think of. That idiot didn't deserve to own a Cobra. The only other TB anything I've ever seen. Beautiful car, still not near as sweet, clean and understated as a Bulitt though.

Thanks for the Info Mr.T.

Whatever way you look at it, TB and DHG are rare. Those are two of the sharpest looking colors available for the Mustang. I've seen more Bullitts than TB Mustangs (V6's or GT's). Seems like the TB will be the rare one. But considering they're were only 5582 made I'm not going to worry too much on rarity, we already rare. So I'm going to enjoy this ride as much as possible

Everyone just chill. Be happy with the fact that you own a Bullitt, the best GT ever made and a future collectible. In my opinion, True Blue is the best color to get but we all have our opinions right?

TB or NOT TB that is the question . No matter what color you have it will always be a collectable BUT I think as I look into my Crystal Ball, That statistically speaking I believe the True blue one will be worth slightly more than the black and the black worth slightly more than the green ones, because of the number produced individually. But then again we all know that a car [classic or a limited produced one} is really only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. right ?
