I like the thick stripes in front better too. I'm having them done just like in the pictures.

I'm using this forum so that the guy who will be doing my stripes has a link to see what I want him to do.

I really like the stripes but don't care for the way they go over the front edge of the hood scoop. That would look better with stripes that were just a tad wider.

Really? I kinda like the way it look on the front edge, makes the hood scoop look meaner.

No wonder people are confusing you with McQueen.
I like both of your stripes (yours and McQueens). A LOT !
I've always wanted a Mustang with stripes. Never had one.
hmmmmmm? I just don't know if I can do it.

Also....did you really get plates JUST RECENTLY that say B U L L I T T ??? Here in California? Did you order them, like, over a year ago??? Just curious.

Car looks great TrueBullittBlue. I notice that you have modified the rear fascia to resemble the concept Bullitt by eliminating the slots. I'm interested in doing this to my Bullitt and would appreciate any info on what you did. Thanks, Dave

Just ordered them 6 weeks ago. Kept checking with the DMV for the past year and it finally became available.

Did some searching at Home Depot for a grill pattern I liked. Found one, cut it, painted it matte-black. Painted the inside slot flat-black so that it would go completely dark behind the grill. Mounted the grill. Then to finish it off, I used black bumper trim, with flat edge, not rounded, to tailor the edges. If done right, it looks completely professional.

Good luck.

Well you certainly did it right TrueBullittBlue. I'm very impressed that you made the cover yourself. Something I'll have to consider doing in the future. Thanks for the quick reply and great info. Dave
