Hi Terry,

Hey... any guy who's willing to drive to the Lexington, KY airport to pick me up and take me to the dealer in Mt. Sterling, KY who is selling me my Bullitt (assisted by his trusty "wing man" Mark) and then initiate me into the "Bullitt Family" is a Friend For Life in my book.

After all, Terry... without your help I would not have been able to take my love of Mustangs... Steve McQueen... that great Soundtrack... and "play acting" (like at Halloween time) and pull off this little "experience" recently...

Yes, the movie soundtrack has been re-released and sounds fantastic.

While the CD begins with the score from the introduction to the movie, the second track of the CD is called 'Shifting Gears' and is that wonderful tune preceding the pursuit of the black Charger.

Its hard to avoid hitting the throttle heavily upon the end of that tune....

Apologies for taking the thread slightly off course there, but I had to acknowledge my buddy, Terry, first. Hope you understand (and don't mind the pics I added to the thread. )

You are right. That soundtrack makes driving the Bullitt a whole 'nother experience! :clap:

And - in my humble opinion - playing that music is something we Bullitt owners (replica, 01 and 08/09) are uniquely qualified to do!

Thanks for highlighting the special sound that's part of our lives!
