okay Bullitt-heads,

heres the question. camaro (new) vs Bullitt? i know camaro has more HP, but can the torque of the bullitt beat it off the line? long run? ive always stayed away from camaros from fear of losing... however, i have beaten a 68, a 78, and a 96; but the newer ones.. im not too confident. thanx for the info and "support" :smile: take care!

it's not the Bullitt's tourque that will help you off the line, it's the Bullitt's tranny gearing. In fact, I'd have to think an LS1 has higher hp/tq across the entire band.

But what they don't have, especially in the 6 speed, is a 3.37 1st gear like the ford 3650 (ie..T45). I believe the 6 sp chevy's have a 2.65 1st gear. ADVANTAGE FORD :grin:

From what I've seen, if your going stop light to stop light, the Bullitt will have the advantage, if you're going any longer, watch the Camaro go.
