are there any differences between the 01 bullitt timing cover and an 01 gt timing cover? thanks anyone that can shed some light on the subject. VERY much appreciated!

None unless it is a windsor block the bolts that are second to the bottom hole will be larger. Other than that they are the same. Hope this helps.

GT Engine = Bullitt engine
they are one and the same

the difference is Windsor vs. Romeo though :)

Except for the intake ...

and the oil filler tube ...

and the alternator (well, that's not the engine)

anything else?

Cam covers and oil pan...one engine has more bolts for those covers and pans than the other. The Bullitt has the Romeo engine as I recall. Same beast as in the F-150, Town Car, Grand Marquis and the Crown Victoria, other than the cams.
