I'm not sure Nomad. The track is Houston Raceway Park in Baytown, Tx. It is widely used track by the NHRA, so I can only assume all timing devices are accurate and up to date.
There are two very large NHRA drag races there every year (O'Reilly Nationals and
something else, maybe Matco Tools??). All the big boys show up, like John Force, Bernstein, Selzi, etc... I can't imagine the NHRA would tolerate inaccurate equipment for such important, big cash events.
Who knows?? It is at sea level (which is a big plus) and we occasionally get great, cool, high baramoter weather (30.35 or higher). Add in a good 60ft launch, some clean shifts, and you're gonna be happy when you pick up the timeslip.
