I'm getting very close to JB Vobra's terrotory!! :-B

My first run of the night was 13.82! I'm not sure about the exact temps it was low 80's with humidity in the high 70's.

RT.....759
60'....1.928
330....5.714
1/8....8.855
MPH....78.30
1000...11.560
1/4....13.828
MPH....98.87

My next run was 13.979 and 3rd was 13.999. After that it was low 14's I just could not get the car cool!!

I have Nitto's on the car other then that it's Stock with 1,226 miles.

Should we call you professor Ray?

Give us the details on Launch RPM, shift RPM and so on.

This should take some heat off of JBVobra. He needs a break from all the how did you do it Q's.

Eric
My best is a 14.4. Imagine how lousy I feel!

I have come to the conclusion, I just can't get the Goodyears to work. I know some people can, but I can't.

I went back to Orlando Wednesday night and got in two runs, this time both spun pretty badly at the line but not down the track on shifts. The previous two times it had hooked and bogged, but spun worse on the 1-2 shift. My 60' was a lousy 2.22 (at least it's consistent  ) both runs. So far the best I could manage was a 2.15 two weeks ago.

I have run a best of 14.17 @98.45. My traps the last three runs have been over 99mph, with a best of 99.55.

I have a pair of 275/40/17 Nitto Drag Radials and was waiting to get another set of wheels, but I may go ahead and put them on now. I am stuck in a rut with 14.17 to 14.29 with lousy 60', it's starting to get old.

Mus408, Just a thought, remove what ever mods you put on the Bullitt and use Nitto's I think tampering with the Bullitt setup is not a good idea (right now). The Bullitt is a moded GT so if we mess with the Bullitt combo that Ford gave us where just huring are ET's. I see so many Bullitt's on this site with mods that are running mid to low 14's. Just get traction and practise. Good Luck!

Yep,a little back to back testing, from stock to hot, wouldn't hurt. It's just that the perfect launch,is where the ET lives. I don't plan on doing a lot of strip running with the Bullitt. I still think the car would run better with a taller 275-60-15 DR,since I am going thru the lights at 5800 RPM in third, factory tach indication. That tire would hook better, control 2nd gear spin, and give me a bit less RPM,5500,in 3rd. Also if mounted on a 15X8 Weld Wheel, and if it would clear the rear brakes,I could use them on either Stang.

I have 245 Nitto's. Do you drive your Bullitt to the track? If so that maybe a problem. After my 1st three runs the 13's was over! I let the car sit for over an hour with a bag of ice on the manifold,it was still VERY HOT! I trailer my Bullitt to the track,it's very cool for the first run.I need to find a way to cool the car down.

Ray,congrats on your 13.82 run with your stock mustang
bullitt, line loc and nitto drag rad. The only reason why I posted my time with yours was so that you could compare your time with mine.
Although a lot of other facters come into play. My car is not stock (no line loc)I never said it was stock. The parts I put on my
car are for everyones benefit to see how this motor except the mods.I need more miles
on this motor.
I traded my '99 cobra for this car (broke half shaft) hated the IRS. Love this one.
Once again congrats on your time.
