Was doing so more research on the crate, carbed, LS-2 engine assembly and found this out. For street rod applications, they now have a new front timing cover available,for a front distributor installation. It uses the FORD 351W distributor! Plus the FORD smallblock water pump,and a standard type Chevy mechanical fuel pump!! Man they are making a Mustang swap easier every day!!! I have thoughts along these lines for my 85 LX. You can't build an all aluminum 450 plus HP Ford smallblock for $5,000....yet!!! That is with the stock LS-2 mild cam!
