Ray Ackerman here, I just received my set, Thanks I have two questions:
I'm asking here because I'm sure others may have the same questions.

1) when I placed my order I said I would like to just use them when I drag race you said that's fine. But in the instructions it says if there not permently affixed don't go over 60MPH. I will definatly go over 60MPH. Will they stay on for the short 1/4 run at about 100MPH?

2) when permently affixed will they discolor? Turn yellow after time?

P.S. For all how is thinking about ordering the pieces are cut to size very NICE!

Hi Ray,

Good to hear from you again!
The only time we suggest staying at a lower speed is when you use the dry application. This method was really intended for the show guys who would pull them off during a show for no deduction of points. They didn’t have the time to let them dry (wet application). They would just slap them back on and go home. They were just interested in protecting the car for the re turn trip.

**We suggest this application:
For a better look and for higher speeds, apply using the wet application (spray with water. Apply then squeegee out the water and air bubbles) Goes on much easier. Once dry, they’re practically invisible!. Plus the wet application has been speed tested over 100 mph! (lab test @ 160mph ).
Because you could hardly notice them , most use this application and just leave them on the car. You can easly take them off when you want.

As far as drag racing, the speed didn’t concern me, if you remember it was the hot flying rubber that did. Our product was intended to protect the paint from flying rocks and road debris while “getting on it” and driving in the streets without changing the look or the aesthetics of the car.

Thanks for the compliment on the Fit and finish..
Great hearing from you.
Give me a jingle tomorrow. 1800 778 9898

Can you also make small ovals that we can use to protect our holographic ID stickers?

I would be more then happy to create a piece that would protect that sticker, however since our material was not designed for that function, without testing I couldn’t give you an honest answer on how it would work. I have been told that some members are using our material to protect that sticker. You might want to start a thread and ask them how it's doing.

Hi Ray,
Sorry, I got so involved with the first question
As far as yellowing, it’s minimal.. We tested under extreme and harsh conditions (on a daily driver) to try to accelerate it. With no maintenance to the pieces, in high and low temps, snow, rain and had it sit and bake in the sun and after 1 year you still couldn’t tell they were on the car.
