Several questions re computer reflash:
1) What is it and what does it exactly do?
2) What is the "mustang program" referred to in early discussion from MidLife?
3)- How do I know if I have 01 or 02 code?
if the sticker in your passenger side door says KSG1..it's the old code. if it's says KSG2, it's the new code.
go back to the computer code forum to read about the affects/reasons/etc. it's too long to repeat. it's nothing critical though!
If you haven't done it already I would recommend it if you are having problems with excessive pinging. Car runs great(still) and I can hear the exhaust now. hehehe
