I found a UK website that is taking pre-orders for a Corgi 1:36 68 Mustang GT with the Frank Bullitt figure. Price is about 17 pounds and about 6 pounds shipping. That converts to about $30 US. Not many will have that die cast here in the US. Check it out.

Reminds me of all the old Corgi cars I had while growing up in N.Y.C. such as, the Batmobile, James Bond 007 car, the Green hornet car, the Monkey's G.T.O., boy I wish I still had them!!!

Is it me or does the shape and lines on that car look a little queer?

Yes, the lines of the car do seem a little "off."

I remember having lots of Corgis as a kid (may grandparents lived in England and used to send them to my brother and me for Chistmas, birthdays, etc.) and the detail was always extremely good. The other day I saw the Starsky and Hutch Torino Corgi in a store and the car barely looked the part, except for the famous red and white paint job. It seems that Corgi has let their quality slip.

Still, I'm glad they're going to make the Bullitt car at all!
