I doubt it'd be harmful as long as the door was fully closed...it's supported on both sides...unless you weigh 300lbs+

I put my Bullitt in an enclosed trailer and had to climb out the window after I pulled in.

Won't hurt a thing on the car. I do it all the time. What it does hurt is my body. It's getting to old to be doing things like that.
