I may have figured out why everyone I've seen (all 2 of them) is crooked. My dealership in CO ordered me the logo before I moved and they sent it to me here in FL. I took it out of the bag and its set up to peel the backing off of the letters then hold the edges of the plastic "stencil", for lack of a better work so it is level, then stick the letters on and remove the stencil. Well, low and behold, the letters are crooked in the stencil. This is going to be a project to get them on absolutely perfactly. Any tips?

Any tips for keeping the spacing consistent? I'm gussing measure twice, stick once :wink: How about removal of the old letters?

Then the question becomes how to properly mount the old letters in a cool souvineer fasion for my 04165 colectable collection....

To make sure you get the letters the way you want them, after you clean the surface, spray it with a light LIGHT LIGHT coat of water soap mix, this will alow you to move the letters once on the lid. ( have lid open when doing this that way you dont have to hold it until it dries. Works great)

Good tip, thanks Bullitbro. I'm thinking of using the old letters to make some sort of "reserved for" sign for my garage. Going to install the emblem tomorrow.

When I picked up 02321 from the dealer the U was cracked and the B was crooked,the dealer ordered a new set and I put did the same thing. You do not want wax in the area you are putting the letters on , just another pointer

I used the "old" BULLITT letters on the front of the bra for the Bullitt. It looks great and matches the running pony chrome look! :smile:
