Anyone in the Austin area 9 March weekend, this is a great cruise. Police escorted, and it supports a good kids program. Last year the cruise went to Marble Falls (in the rain!)with over 80 cars, expecting as many or more this year.

If this ain't your cup-o-tea, the Texas Beat The Heat is the following weekend at River City Raceway in Seguin. Again, supports a great kids program. Info on Texas Beat The Heat is at the same site....

I would be interested in participatin in the event. I have a friend from Dallas who might be down for the weekend. If he is a no-show friday night I am leaning towards going down to Austin. The starting point is on the corner of south bound I35 and Wm Cannon. You go through downtown and past Hw 71(Ben White Blvd).

I'd love to get a picture of all three colors of Bullitts behind my 68GT.

Here is a map of South Austin. When you exit William Cannon get in the middle lane. Go through the red light. There will be a Whataburger on your right. Go right past Whataburger and turn in the parking lot. You will see Academy on your left. Hope to see you gentelmen there.

Way to go guys! Thanks for helping with directions for trublubullitt2173. I just got back from Prewitt Racing when I saw this. Dropped off the Bullitt, getting the Gears and stuff put on tomorrow, should have her back shortly after noon. Cruise 4 Kids will be a nice test for the new gears and stuff.

I'm anticipating being at the Academy about 9AM. Hope to see y'all there....

The Cruise 4 Kids was a real blast. Nice cruise, great food, great police support stopping traffice for 40 cars. Anyone interested, here is the link to the pictures we have so far:
