Here are photos of the hero car when it was in the Kentucky barn. Some background on these. Sometime in the 90's an employee working on the farm the family owns told the story of a Mustang in the horse barn and someone put two and two together. they went onto the property and took photos. Dave was sent the photos on the condition that he not publish them.

WILD! You would think that original Family would've taken better care of it somehow...but to each their own; at least they kept it all those years and are sharing it now...

The third owners used the car. It was his wife's daily driver for a while while she was teaching. Like so many of us life happens and those things you were going to do just don't get done when you would like. Really this car had limited appeal until the late 1980's when Brad Bowling went digging for treasure.

GREAT STORY and THANKS for the link! What an interesting History! An American Story to be sure -- "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" Baby, but it has come full circle.
