Spent most of the afternoon at Daytona speedway watching the final 24Hr rolex practice and the 1st 2 hours of the Koni featuring the Ford "off the assembly line" racing Mustangs. The #60 mustang and the #59 Jack Rousch jr Mustang dominated the middle part of the race. Blew by the Beamers ans Porches on the high banks and tri-oval and was a little bulky in the tight corners, but could stay ahead I am not sure what happened to them the last half hour (to loose the lead), but they looked good. 2 other mustangs finished 2nd and 3rd, behind a porche.

I made the move from NW Ohio in the 70's. No regrets this time of the year.

I need to move to Florida so I can watch races live in the middle of January!
Yes you do!!

In the next two months alone you can watch Mustangs at TWO major Mustang drag racing events[FFW and MMRA}, the NHRA Gator Nats, and a SCCA regional race.

There are two large Mustang shows, Amelia Island concourse, St.Pete Road race with ALM cars .....

Not to mention Daytona 500, Sebring 12 hour, and a major vintage race at Sebring.

However, from June to Sept - not much going on!
