Only on one side in the front (fog lamps) and one side in the back (exhaust ports since it will have side pipes). I have to leave room for the rocket launchers. :nerd:
Yes they're nice! We had the GAU-2B's in my day in the Corps.
But as cool as they are the problem is this ain't Hollywood. So with a weapon that fires between 3000 & 6000 Rounds Per/Min like this – even bolted to a Huey (UH1N) Helicopter will be limited to a certain amount of rounds they can carry. In our case our birds could only carry enough ammo for between one & two minutes firing time. Oh sure you could carry more but there was a severe weight penalty that affected the amount of cargo/fuel/passengers you could carry.
So with that in mind, the question is – how much Ammo can we actually carry in our Bullitts.

Too big. BTW if you are referring to the Phalanx used on Navy ships, they use 20mm rounds (I used to work on them). They also go through too much ammo too quickly, and I just don't have that kind of money! :nerd:
ken,
yes i was reffering to the navy ship phalanx guns, and i stand corrected. thanks for posting the actual mm size. they must have been really something to see in action! i had a cousin who was in the gulf in 89, and he had the phalanx guns on his ship. that's how i knew about them.

Parallel parking would be a snap, just clear the way.
