Was i the only one who paid MSRP (27380) or the only one who got screwed?

What is Xplan? Someone paid alot less through this-
I live in NY- did the MSRPs vary in other states?

Still grinning anyway :-B

My net cost after rebate was $24,870 with the Mach 460. But if I had to I would have paid the sticker price. I think that what we got is well worth it! Enjoy your car.

Yep I paid sticker of $27380.00 which included the MACH 460 plus California sales tax of $1919.75 and $45.00 documentaion fee. The only deduction I got was a $1000.00 rebate. May seem steep to some but in the CA central coast/ bay area that was the best deal I could find since all other dealer were asking $2000.00-$4000.00 more than sticker.

I took the financing instead of the rebate. My cost out the door. With the Mach 460, taxes, plates, 7/70 warranty, Alarm, Undercoating, paint/fabic shield was about 30k even. My cost before everything added was $25,800. My dealer sells all their Mustangs at $100 over invoice and the Bullitt was $500 over due it beiung a specialty car. And that is invoice and not sticker.

I got mine for $25K with the mach460

The sticker was $27,380, I talked the guy "down" to $27K. There was a $1500 rebate on the gt's at the time plus Ford offered a "Harris County Flood Relief" rebate worth $500.

I've heard others in Houston got them even lower, but I'm still pretty pleased.

I bought the Bullitt as a daily driver so I would not have to drive one of the Porsches to work.

Sticker was $27,380. They screwed my trade up and did not call the bank for the pay off then they figured retail instead of blue book so I got like 12,000. That brought it down to $15,380. I bought it on doubel coupon day so my rebate was worth $3000.00 so that brought it down to $12,380. Told the guy no way was I paying over $10,000 for an american car. So they chopped off the $2380.00

Explained to him that I knew he was getting something back from the lending institution he was using and I WANTED IT. Finally he said they were getting $900 from the bank. So we took the $900 off the $10,000 and that left me with $9,100. In the end I threatened to use my American express card for the whole $9,100 unless they saved me some more so we split the Amex fee and they took another $225 off and so that left me with $8875.00 Not counting Tax and tags.

WHAT MOM? Time to wake up,,,,,

OK... I paid MSRP and it issss my daily driver.

MLC,
Once again I see you are spending way to much time in the Phoenix sun!!!!

Got mine for $500 over dealer invoice, less $1,500 rebate. Walked out the door for $26,880 after tax, title and tag. A preety good deal IMO. I did have a little leverage since I was paying cash. I have found it much easier to swallow making a car payment to myself for a specified time and then going and slapping a wad of cash down in front of them. Besides, I get the interest on the money, not some bank.

Got mine for $26,380 and still can't believe it. What a deal! I paid 2K more for my '99 GT convertible and while a fun car, does not compare to the Bullitt.

$37,310 --- Holy Crap, Batman!
I hope that is in Canadian dollars.

I got the 'X' plan, which is 4% over Fords 'A' plan. 'A' plan is what Ford employees get. 'X' plan is what Ford offers to their suppliers. I think I recall paying $25,123 for the whole shootin match. I probably could have fought the guy down (the ole CatSmasher is pretty hoopy good at wheelin and dealin) to something close to that, but the 'X' plan made it easy. I passed up the rebate for the lower interest rate.
I am still waiting for my jacket

I picked mine up on June 4th, so I missed the extra post-flood discount from Houston area dealers . $27000 minus the GT's $750 rebate with financing in June.

Got mine at $1000 above dealer cost, so about $26,500. I passed up the $1500.00 for the 5.9%. I still think ford shoud send us SOMETHING!!!! I think a box with the dvd and soundtrack from the movie and the a keychain with the number of our car on it!!!
That would be sweet.

Let it go, Fred! Ford isn't sending us anything. Doon't let the hate burn inside of you. Let it out and move on.
I would hate to see you die a bitter man.
