I am very lucky to have an oversize two car garage. It is detached from the house and is unfinished inside. I heat it with a Universal 150,000 BTU propane heater. I can make it go from 30 degrees F to 70 degrees F in 5 minutes! I only heat it when I am dinking with DHG 3875. What are other Bullittheads doing?

My garage is attached and it has the house hold vents in it. If I want to, I could heat it or A/C it. But in Virginia Beach winters are so tame and the summers aren't 2 bad I just leave them closed. Besides It would cost me a fortune to heat or cool it.
Right now my garage is full of 67 Fastback in many parts while I rebuild the fire wall forward. 1007 and my MACH1 are both under NOAH fitted Big Sky covers outside.
My Garage is big enough for 2 cars but has a single car door. The 67 is on wheel dollys so I can move it around. Before I go to Key West this weekend for 2 weeks I'm moving 1007 back inside.

Central Heat and A/C, propane fired! The garage is attached to the house so I just open the ducts in the winter and it stays nice and warm. I have to confess that the Bullitt isn't in the garage. The 1966 Mustang 289 coupe is residing in there right now.

My garage is attached to the house. It's insulated with plywood over top. I then ran a line off my furnace to the garage which keeps the temp around 65 deg. I also have a spare elec heater in case it drops below 50 deg. along with the car I've got a bike, jet ski and my work equipment and supplies. None of which can freeze.

227 lives in a 2 1/2 car garage. See my WEB site for photo of 227 and my 68 in the garage. No heater, but we do have a propane tank and heater that my wife uses when she does stain Glass.

Take care.

Freezing! I have an electric heater that will keep a small area warm & I can warm my hands in front of it. I really try to limit my tinkering to the warmer months.

In 2001 we built an attached garage to replace our single car carport.

It's heated with a natural gas HOT DAWG, which we keep at a constant 50 degrees and warms up fast if we need it.
See HOT DAWG furnaces here:
http://www.hot-dawg.com/Hot-Dawg.htm

This week we finished up the loft upstairs which will be the place to keep diecasts, trophies, posters etc. and have club meetings.

It's the first time we've had the ponies home for winter. We used to rent two garages.

We have a detached 24' x 24' garage. Two weeks ago I finished putting 5/8" wafer board on the bottom side of the rafters for my ceiling. While doing this I also routed 9 double electrical outlets and hung up 9 - 2 bulb flourescent lights. We have a 30k BTU propane heater which gets the garage just right for me to detail the Bullitt. The lights are AWESOME. I can see every detail/flaw in the paint. It is a major help during my waxing.

My next project is to build a garage/gameroom on the back of our lot. This will be 24' x 40'. When complete it will house the Bullitt, pool table and other collector items.

Epperstang: OUTSTANDING.
As a Builder/General Contractor I congratulate you on your project. I am building a new home in Missouri similar to your layout. Corner lot, hill side. The walkout basement will be a 9 foot pour with a 9 by 7 garage door. I will be able to pull the bullitt in from the side street into the basement. On the front street a 24 by 36 garage attached to house with two 9 by 8 doors for the diesel pick-up and expedition.

Thanks each you that gave nice comments on our "Garage Majal" aka "Pony Palace."

There was supposed to be room for a shop in there, but during the construction phase we added four ponies to the collection, including the Bullitt.

When our son get's his own space, we'll have more for our toys. He has four ponies hanging around here too.

We expanded the garage to the max on our property that the country would allow and its still not big enough - SIGH!!

I love opening my back kitchen door and seeing a sea of Stangs!

We're still working on the room in the loft. Yesterday I ordered blinds for the windows. White with blue tapes - kinda like a 65/66 Shelby!!
