I would leave it as is and throw the new "Bullitt" cap in the trunk, still in its plastic packaging. You have a "one of a kind" Bullitt, not unlike a postage stamp with a bi-plane flying upside down. Leave it alone. People really will wonder what you're driving now: Is it a 6-cyl.? Is it a GT? Is it a Bullitt? What IS it? Is it a bird? Is it a plane?....:rotfl: :rotfl: :hyper2:Bullitt S/C said:Or should I just leave it since it is different maybe one of a kind?

This is one of those times having a good relationship with your dealer pays off.
+1 that's what I was going to say, go on e-bay and get yourself one and hang on to it. then you don't have to deal with the stealership.JrzyBullitt said:Personally I would keep the one that's on the car right where it is!! I think that a factory installed mistake of this nature is pretty cool. The Bullitt caps are on eBay all the time and really aren't that expensive. I would pick one up, online or at the dealer, & just save it!! I wish that happened to me!
Jay... its very likely that your car is the real deal!!Bullitt S/C said:Well I sure hope it is a real Bullitt the window sticker looks real ????
I can't see your photobucket picture here at worked, they are all blocked, however: While anyone can get a Bullitt gascap off the 'bay and make a fake Bullitt, if your car has the engine brace with the Bullitt #, it is real.Bullitt S/C said:Well I sure hope it is a real Bullitt the window sticker looks real ????
