One of our local Mustang Club members owns a Ford Dealership.

He brought a white Shelby GT Convertible he has for sale to our show on Sunday.

It's one of two he picked up from other dealers that were going out of business.

He's sold one and this one has been flash-tuned and is putting out 590 HP.

Well of course I had to ask for a test drive.

He gave the key to my son and I and away we vanished over the horizon.

My son is 19 and of course he got that "Tim Allen-Big-Block look" on his face when he got behind the wheel and punched the pedal. (every teenagers dream)

Well, the car is scary fast. Just amazing.

If anyone is interested, it's for sale at $57,900. Not bad considering what others are asking.

That is sharp Carl. And you are right, compared to other verts I have seen (in the 70k range) that is a steal. Did Dave ever sell the GT?

Cam,

I think he's got two more.

But there's another dealer down the street from me that has one.

The last time I looked at it they wanted $37,500.

And there it sits, nailed to the pavement.

Cheers,

CG

He got 2 more Ford GT's??? I am assuming you mean Shelby GT's. Either way, that is alot more of either than most of the dealerships around have or will see.

Finally! Someone that backs up what I've been saying all along. 3900#'s or not these cars are downright fast!
You don't have to be very smart to know they are fast, you don't have to be very smart to know they are heavy, but you do have to be smart to buy one.
