I'm not a fan of the factory throttle mapping on these drive-by-wire cars myself either; same goes for my Focus ST. Fortunately my new-edge Cougar is as analog as they get, which is a must for track use if you ask me.

Are those long-tubes or shorty headers? I've never wanted to commit to dealing with LTs myself, but it seems most will tell you that the shorty models don't do much for performance over OEM manifolds.

Those are some terrific gains for basic exhaust work; bet it's a riot to drive. Thanks!

I have a good local tuner who did my track Cougar, so if I decide to go with a tune that would be the route I take. He's of course an LS specialist, but has plenty of experience with modular Fords as well, so I have faith he would do a fine job. You're giving me lots of ideas, haha - thanks!
