Wow! He e-mailed me back!
He says that Ford is almost ready with the
hologram protectors. They will be clear
plastic. He did not say if they would be
static cling or adhesive etc.

Felt like getting an e-mail from a
celebrity!

Very nice man!

I talked to Art about the problems with 227 and he was very nice about. Wanted to know the name of the dealership that I was dealing with. Also told me that the Engine was brand new and that was good news  Did he say when we would be getting these covers?

Thanks

Bud

Art Hyde also told me that Scott Hoag, the
Bullitt Program Manager, would know the
proceedures for obtaining the holograms,
if it has been established that is.

Does anyone have Scott Hoag's e-mail?

As far as when they would be ready he said
"At long last, a clear protective cover for
your label is about ready." So...no we do
not know when.

No problem...I am hot on it!
Will be e-mailing Scott Hoag when sober!
Will make too many spelling/syntax errors
right now.
Don't want to embarass the Bullittclub or
myself!
(did I mispell anything on this post...
testing.) How do you get to area 51?

What was the question?

Fellow Bullittheads...I do not think that
Mr. Art Hyde would say these things about the
hologram protection if he was not serious.

I will contact Mr. Scott Hoag regarding
obtaining the hologram protection!

Protection is on the way!

I WILL keep all Bullittheads informed!
(I have nothing else to do...I am laid off!)

PY,

I don't suppose he said if they have any plans for those of us whose sticker is NO LONGER LEGIBLE??? Mine is just a sticker, no words, no numbers...not anymore. I'm afraid that "protection" is a little late....but would be nice to have a replacement sticker for those of us who have ruined stickers.....sigh.

Thanks!

#25 ·
Hey Dona.. It's my understanding that there is 1 sticker left from the process available after production to replace those that are destroyed. I have no idea how you'd go about getting one for your car.. Maybe a dealer warranty issue? But there are 3 stickers made for every Bullitt.. 1 for the shock tower, 1 for the "secret location" and 1 left on file.

#26 ·
Yes...that is what I had understood also!
What they will do about the damaged holograms
I do not know...but I will ask!
